February 25th, 2011: is no longer an actively updated source for Clarkson Hockey madness. It was a ton of fun serving the fans of Clarkson Hockey for the 100 or so years that it lasted. will now serve as an archive, forever documenting the rise of the Bonesaw from 2006 - 2009. The Bonesaw is still going strong for Clarkson Hockey, but unfortunately does not have the active staff necessary to keep it updated regularly. If you think that you can get involved somehow feel free to contact us. May the saw be with you.

Tonight marked the official handout of the Pre-Ordered Bonesaw Brigade T-Shirts for the 07-08 season. It was great to see so many new and old faces wearing the uniform for another year.

It was also the second ECAC matchup for Clarkson this season tonight, as the Golden Knights faced off against the Harvard Crimson. Luckily for Harvard they wear red because their blood was spilled early on in the first and they simply couldn't recover.

At 7 the two teams sqared off at center ice for the first time since last March when Clarkson sent Harvard packing in the quarter finals of the ECAC playoffs. At exactly 1 minute in Matt Beca, with help from Grant Clitsome and Philippe Paquet, showed those Boston bastards why they went home defeated last year, scoring on Richter as the Knights crashed the nets hard right off the bat. Unfortunately, the Crimson got a powerplay only a few minutes later, and added their own powerplay tally at around 4 and a half minutes. But, with an assist from Steve Zalewski, Tim Marks gave it to Boston again as the clock neared ten minutes, putting the Knights back up top 2-1.

Although the score board may have said differently, Harvard definitely seemed in control of the puck for most of the first and second periods, as they outshot CU in both. Luckily, our God in disguise (but we can see right through it) #33 was taking care of every shot that encountered the net with some very impressive saves on some breakaway shots and crease chaos that followed. When the Green and Gold did take a shot, they were obviously careful to try and make it count, with probably 2 our of every 3 just barely skipping by the net, and our hearts were jumping almost every shot.

The third period brought a little more control Clarkson's way, but both teams seemed tired and sloppy, with a lot of passes missing, and a lot of mistakes made in general puck handling. Only in the third did Clarkson outshoot Harvard, 6-5, but with nothing doing for either side.

In the end, the new improved ILLUMINATED Omega Bonesaw was raised twice in celebration as the Golden Knights stick it to Harvard with another ECAC win, 2-1.

The Lady Knights travelled to Maine for the weekend for some non-conference play agains the University of Maine Black Bears. It was an all Knight showing, as the Green and Gold outshot the Black Bears 51-12, thats right FIFTY-ONE to TWELVE. On those fifty one shots it was Clarkson's Britney Selina who scored twice, once in the second and once in the third with assists from Genevieve Levoie and Melissa Waldie.

In what was surely a one sided contest, the Women Golden Knights skate to victory in game 1 against the Black Bears, 2-0.
