February 25th, 2011: is no longer an actively updated source for Clarkson Hockey madness. It was a ton of fun serving the fans of Clarkson Hockey for the 100 or so years that it lasted. will now serve as an archive, forever documenting the rise of the Bonesaw from 2006 - 2009. The Bonesaw is still going strong for Clarkson Hockey, but unfortunately does not have the active staff necessary to keep it updated regularly. If you think that you can get involved somehow feel free to contact us. May the saw be with you.

And We're Back

After around a month of interuption, ECAC action resumed tonight with a showdown between the Clarkson Golden Knights and the Dartmouth Big Green in the wonderful state of Vermont. Expectations were high, especially after the strong showing last weekend against B.C. In fact, this should have been a push over game compared to last weekends contest.

Apparently the Big Green Goonies had plans of their own, holding strong through the first period, and then striking first in the second sending Clarkson into the lockers after 40 minutes of play down 0-1. Of course, as any Golden Knight fan should know, any deficit going into the 3rd period can be over come, and most likely has been in the past. Steve Zalewski unleashed the saws around 7 minutes into the final period, knotting things up 1-1 with the help of Matt Beca and Shea Guthrie. But, Dartmouth struck back nearly 10 minutes later. In a last ditch effort, the Green and Gold pulled Leggio, and although CU has been airing last year's game against RPI where we came up with a goal with just 3.3 seconds left to tie the game up, it wasn't the same story this evening as Dartmouth was able to put the puck into the empty net and seal their deal.

The bonesaws just didn't strike fear deep enough into Cow Country tonight as they only busted out once, as the Clarkson Golden Knights drop their 3rd ECAC game to the Dartmouth Big Green, 1-3.

Just as a quick side note, we are experiencing some technical difficulties with our webhost and the domain name.  Some images aren't working, and some links are acting a little screwy.  We should have these issues resolved soon.

Boston College Game

For those of you who are back on campus for this fine weekend, the Golden Knights will be taking on Boston College on Saturday.  If you're a student, I'm sure you've already read the 20 announcement emails that have gone out to you regarding this big game.

Not only is there a big hockey game, but our main man Tony Collins will be welcoming some important people such as John T. McLennan, and Clarkson and Boston College hockey coach Len Ceglarkski.  McLennen with his family created a 1.5 million endowment which will fund the Clarkson Golden Knights men's head hockey coach position.

Yeah, I totally copied most of that from the announcement email.  Bottom line is if you're in town or on campus this weekend you should not be missing this game.  Once again we have another opportunity to defeat some Massholes, and that only comes around every so often.  Bring your saws, and be ready to raise them in the name of the Golden Knights!
