February 25th, 2011: is no longer an actively updated source for Clarkson Hockey madness. It was a ton of fun serving the fans of Clarkson Hockey for the 100 or so years that it lasted. will now serve as an archive, forever documenting the rise of the Bonesaw from 2006 - 2009. The Bonesaw is still going strong for Clarkson Hockey, but unfortunately does not have the active staff necessary to keep it updated regularly. If you think that you can get involved somehow feel free to contact us. May the saw be with you.

Tonight, at Yale, the men of the Clarkson Golden Knights recorded their first win of the season in their first game of ECAC Play.  With Greg Lewis in the goal, he faced 27 shots on goal and let none of them in for a "Friday Night Where Yale Can't Score!" shut out.  The only goal of the game was scored by Junior Forward Jarrett Burton for a total of 5 goals this season.  This is the kind of win that Clarkson needs and now sets them in the right mind set for crushing Brown tomorrow.

Men Tie Up the Weekend

This past weekend, the Clarkson Golden Knights, lead by Ben Sexton, tied both of their games this weekend in overtime against Canisius College.  Trailing at the end of the third period, down by one, the gentlemen were able to pull a goal to even the score.  The Canisius team then scored a goal with less than a minute remaining in the third period.  But with 28.7 seconds to spare, Clarkson once again evened the score where it was held during overtime.  Andrew Hunt made his fist appearance as a Golden Knight this weekend and took on 39 shots.

Congratulations to Patrick Marsh, Pat Megannety, and Ben Sexton.

The second game of the weekend series was also against Canisius.  This time, Lewis was back in the net and the knights eager to take home their first W of the season.  It eluded us again as we skated to our third tie of the season.  The only goals of the game were scored by Jarrett Burton.  The knights were out shot this game, but Lewis kept his cool and kept the tie going for the final 25 minutes of play.
