SUPER SPECIAL MESSAGE
February 25th, 2011:

Bonesaw.org is no longer an actively updated source for Clarkson Hockey madness. It was a ton of fun serving the fans of Clarkson Hockey for the 100 or so years that it lasted. Bonesaw.org will now serve as an archive, forever documenting the rise of the Bonesaw from 2006 - 2009. The Bonesaw is still going strong for Clarkson Hockey, but unfortunately Bonesaw.org does not have the active staff necessary to keep it updated regularly. If you think that you can get involved somehow feel free to contact us. May the saw be with you.

Lady Knights Season Comes to Close

Jeremy - March 10, 2008 - 2:38 am

Saturday afternoon the Lady Knights took on Harvard in the ECAC Semifinals. Harvard entered the game ranked #1 in the Nation, and the Green and Gold held 8th. Considering that the Crimson have only suffered one loss all season to this point they were heavily favored over Clarkson. However, our Golden Knights were strong, and throughout the first and second periods refused to give way to a formidable Harvard offense. In fact, it was the Knights that had the upper hand at quite a few moments, but were unable to net the first goal. Late in the 2nd, Harvard struck first and the Knights went into the locker room down 0-1. Unfortunately, the Crimson came out too strong in the third, and their 1 goal lead turned into 2 and then 3.

The Bonesaws were kept at bay for this ECAC Semifinal game, but our Lady Knights showed that they could go toe to toe with “the best” and give them a run for their money. The Clarkson Golden Knights may have lost this game to Harvard, 0-3, but they have earned a new respect as the team has gone further than ever before in CU Women’s hockey history. There is a lot of young talent on the team, and next year will just be a continuation of this strong Clarkson program.

Way to go Ladies, on behalf of the Bonesaw Brigade I just want to say congratulations on your most successful season to date, and we can’t wait until next fall when you hit the ice again.

(Harvard went on to beat S.L.U.(t) in the Championship game, so they aren’t all that bad…massholes)
