February 25th, 2011: is no longer an actively updated source for Clarkson Hockey madness. It was a ton of fun serving the fans of Clarkson Hockey for the 100 or so years that it lasted. will now serve as an archive, forever documenting the rise of the Bonesaw from 2006 - 2009. The Bonesaw is still going strong for Clarkson Hockey, but unfortunately does not have the active staff necessary to keep it updated regularly. If you think that you can get involved somehow feel free to contact us. May the saw be with you.

Girls Send SLU(t)'s Home Crying

Curtis - February 5, 2009 - 1:41 am

The Clarkson Golden Knight's womens hockey team defeated the Sluzers tonight by a score of 2-1 in front of a crowd of 845.  The Knights started the scoring in the 1st with a goal by Genevieve Lavoie.  While at the side of the net, Lavoie slid the puck between the five hole of the sieve Brittony to put the Knights ahead.  SLU(t) would score a few minutes into the 2nd period to tie it up, but Melissa Waldie would score on the power play just 2 minutes later to regain the lead.  Waldie also registered an assist on the first goal as she would be the only player that had a multi point night.  Sophomore Lauren Dahm made 23 saves en route to her 10th victory of the season.  The Knights played some solid defense late in the game as SLU(t) did everything they could to try and tie up the game.  This was a huge win for the girls as SLU(t) is ranked 6th in the nation and is in first place in ECAC play.  The girls will play this weekend at Cheel as they face Union and RPI.
