February 25th, 2011: is no longer an actively updated source for Clarkson Hockey madness. It was a ton of fun serving the fans of Clarkson Hockey for the 100 or so years that it lasted. will now serve as an archive, forever documenting the rise of the Bonesaw from 2006 - 2009. The Bonesaw is still going strong for Clarkson Hockey, but unfortunately does not have the active staff necessary to keep it updated regularly. If you think that you can get involved somehow feel free to contact us. May the saw be with you.

Union Girls Surrender

- February 7, 2009 - 2:25 pm

It was no surprise that the women’s hockey team defeated Union yesterday afternoon.  Union ranks last in ECAC play with a 0-16-1 record in which they have accumulated only 11 goals.  The girls made Union look like they had never skated before as Clarkson dominated the entire game right from the start.  It was probably one of Lauren Dahm’s easier shutouts in her career as she need only stop 8 shots all game.  Melissa Waldie opened the scoring a few minutes into the game on a great wrist shot over the glove of the sieve named Lundy for Union.  Just a few minutes after that, Britney Selina ripped a slap shot from the point on a power play to make the score 2-0.  Ashleigh Moorehead would score her first goal of the season to make the score 3-0 a few minutes into the second period.  Selina would score again short handed halfway through the period to make it 4-0.  The onslaught would continue in the third period as Caitlin Oleska would score her first career goal as a Golden Knight to make the score 5-0.  The girls would score once more as Juana Baribeau scored her team leading 17th goal of the season to make the score 6-0.  The shutout helped lower Dahm’s GAA to 1.47 and also put the girls in 5th place in ECAC play.  The girls will play again this afternoon against RPI.
