February 25th, 2011: is no longer an actively updated source for Clarkson Hockey madness. It was a ton of fun serving the fans of Clarkson Hockey for the 100 or so years that it lasted. will now serve as an archive, forever documenting the rise of the Bonesaw from 2006 - 2009. The Bonesaw is still going strong for Clarkson Hockey, but unfortunately does not have the active staff necessary to keep it updated regularly. If you think that you can get involved somehow feel free to contact us. May the saw be with you.

Welcome to the 2009-2010 Season! And Happy 5th year!

Adam - August 28, 2009 - 11:33 pm

Well it’s that time again. Pucks will soon be flying in the grounds of Potsdam. This is a special year for the brigade. What started out 5 years ago as several students bringing cardboard saws to the hockey games, has evolved into an era of mayhem, light-up saws, the Omega saw, 5 generations of shirts, bumper stickers, and even hand foamsaws. We hope that the team this year re-establishes themselves as a force to reckon with.

The men start the season with an exhibition match at Cheel Arena on October 3rd. The team hits the road and returns home after 2 weeks to open the regular season with games against Niagara and RIT. These games are slated for Parent’s Weekend. This is also the weekend the new 5th Anniversary shirt will be available. More details to follow on that. The anticipated SLU(t) game this year falls on Saturday October 24th. After this matchup, Clarkson is on the road for the next 8 of 10 games. The schedule is compensated in January as the Knights have 6 straight home games. The rest of the season is then spent playing ECAC teams. Out of conference teams include Michigan State, Minnesota-Duluth, Boston College, Northern Michigan, and Alabama-Huntsville.

The women have a very unique schedule. Opening the season against the Ottawa Senators (no, not those Ottawa Senators) as an exhibition match, Cheel Arena is then occupied for the next 9 of 11 games. Following that trend, starting November 6th, the women only have 2 of the next 14 games at home. After this stretch, the women close the season alternating weeks at home and on the road. October 27th marks the date for the SLU(t).

More details are to follow for the shirts. Pre-orders will start in the next couple weeks. Times will be posted. Stay tuned to for all the latest updates concerning your Clarkson Hockey teams!
