The night after losing 4-1 to Minnesota, Clarkson could not overcome their opponents the following night, falling by a tally of 4-2. On Friday's game, it was the Connolly brother, cousins, father-son duo, whatever connection, that did the Knights in, combining for 3 goals. On Saturday, however, Rob Bordson recored a goal and 3 assists to help his team over-power the Green and Gold. Minnesota-Duluth showed us how they do own one of the best offenses in the nation, having multiple players in the top 5 in scoring. Louke Oakley was the only Knight that showed offensive flare, assisting on 2 of the 3 goals scored over the wekeend.
Clarkson returns to action next weekend when they open the ECAC's in Connecticut and New Jersey against Quinnipiac and Princeton.
