SUPER SPECIAL MESSAGE
February 25th, 2011:

Bonesaw.org is no longer an actively updated source for Clarkson Hockey madness. It was a ton of fun serving the fans of Clarkson Hockey for the 100 or so years that it lasted. Bonesaw.org will now serve as an archive, forever documenting the rise of the Bonesaw from 2006 - 2009. The Bonesaw is still going strong for Clarkson Hockey, but unfortunately Bonesaw.org does not have the active staff necessary to keep it updated regularly. If you think that you can get involved somehow feel free to contact us. May the saw be with you.

One Heart Stopping Senior Night

Jeremy - February 17, 2007 - 10:22 pm

For the final farewell to our senior Knights there was a rivalry match that had anticipation high. The Clarkson Golden Knights faced off against the RPI Engineers in Cheel Arena for the last home game of the regular season. Having clintched a 1st round bye CU is now just focussed on a ECAC regular season title.

It wasn't until over halfway into the first that first blood was drawn, and it was an RPI goal. With all those worthless fans from the Troylet practically still on their feet, Nick Dodge drove the puck down to RPI's end, and with a little help from Cayer and Bellows, Dodge was able to put Clarkson on the board.

The second period started out tied, 1-1, but 11 and a half minutes in on a power play, Beca was able to put Clarkson ahead. The period ended 2-1.

With only 5 minutes of play left in the third, RPI had a 5 on 3 powerplay advantage, and scored tying things up. Then, with one man still in Clarkson's box, RPI put another goal in only 20 seconds later. With only two minutes to play and down one goal, Leggio was pulled from Clarkson's net, and with the crowd roaring and on its feet, BECA SCORED WITH ONLY 3.3 SECONDS REMAINING. Overtime was in the air.

Unfortunately, even with the Knights controlling the puck for almost the entire 5 minutes of overtime, there were no clear chances to score.

After an up and down game, the Bonesaws were raised three times, with Clarkson and RPI tying, 3-3
